Over the past week or so, when I wasn’t doing some sort of homework, I went outside to enjoy the beautiful Fall weather. It seemed as though rather than seeing just a normal spider or a normal caterpillar, it had to be an unusual creature.
Take a look at this!
The Caterpillar of the Hickory Tussock Moth. According to what I have read, beware! Don’t touch one if you see it as the white and black hairs that stick out get into your skin, and can cause a severe allergic reaction.
While I’m on the topic of cool creatures, my Cousin Keegan is in the Galápagos Islands studying the behavior of the island’s lava lizards, which are very cool creatures! He is enhancing his skills of the Spanish language, and learning about the local culture in the process. This is all thanks to the Global Gap Year Fellowship.
Check out his blog, Don Quixote de Los Carolinas.
Have a great week!
